The state has filed another request to extend their deadline to file their response to the appellant's motion.
From Jerry Buting: There’s no hard and fast rule [regarding extensions being granted]. A.G. asks for brief filing extensions in most cases, citing caseload, or complexity of case, etc. Sometimes real life intrudes, for the defense too, like illness of lawyer or a loved one. Court tries to be fair & finds good cause unless it’s abused.
